Fees and Insurance

A full list of fees is available upon request. Fees for some of the more common services are (updated 04/01/2024):

Diagnostic Interview:    $265

Individual Therapy (60 min):   $215

Family therapy (60 min):  $215

Individual Therapy (45 min): $165

Missed Appointment (<48 hr notice): $150

Discernment Counseling:  $250/hr

*note that these fees may be impacted by contracts we have with insurers (BCBS PPO and Medicare)

Currently, teletherapy is reimbursed by almost all insurance companies at the same rate as in-office services. You must check with your insurance to make sure that this is true for your policy.

Most of our therapists are contracted providers for 

BCBS PPO and Medicare. Please discuss with your therapist whether they accept insurance.

Please be aware that some BCBS PPO policies use third-party  companies to manage their mental health coverage. In those cases, we are  NOT considered in-network providers and you will be considered a  fee-for-service client. 

If you have other insurance, you will be asked to pay the full fee upfront. You may then file your own claims (we provide all necessary information for you to do so) or we can often file on your behalf.

In all cases, it is the patient's responsibilities to understand the limitations and requirements of your individual policy.

Patients with billing questions should first direct all questions to their therapist. If your therapist cannot address your concerns, he/she will direct you to contact Dr. Ginny Wright at dr.wright@lwapsych.com.

PAYMENT

Patients are required to keep a credit card on file. Please note that there is a 3% fee for all credit card charges. (If using and HSA/FSA card, please let your therapist know, as fees do not apply to these cards.) To avoid the credit card fees, patients can provide bank account information for e-check payments.

DISCERNMENT COUNSELING

Insurance is used for treatment of medical disorders. Because there is no diagnosis given in discernment counseling, the service is NOT billable to insurance. See the discernment counseling website for more details.
